I was hoping to find something decent on YouTube on these topics to make some kind of point about how photography can be a tool of oppression:
– physiognomy
– extended to ideology
– extended to surveillance, imprisonment, murder
– (interval to talk about the n*z*s and how they did this, and also to talk about Japanese internment camps in the US and how they weren’t allowed to bring in cameras)
– extended to tech & algorighms of oppression
– extended to Snapshat
So I have to watch 100,000 videos to get that right and no I’m absolutely not going to write a paper that covers all of that just to read over a PowerPoint. But I could read parts of a textbook and essays.
