Unlike the weekend, time matters again today so I think I have to set a million alarms so I don’t forget to go to class and stuff.
Today is also the day I practice not telling everyone my personal business which is very hard for me. I’ve found that for me it’s residual from indoctrination to like overshare disproportionately to my relationship with the person. Nobody at school needs to know what’s happened this weekend at this point. Like, the only people I interact with really are my TA and my students and that’s the kind of disproportion I mean.
Anyway, just talked to shuffleboard partner Mark for a while. Now it’s time to get dressed and drive to Tampa I guess.

I popped in for a quick check and got to see both the neurologist and the doctor who makes recommendations for acute rehab facilities. She’s looking good today but they’re taking her off all food and liquid by mouth after the barium swallow test bc some is always going down her esophagus.
They just took her back for the test that I can’t remember the name of—trans-esophageal something?—to look at her heart with a camera to try and confirm afib. They can’t get her on blood thinners until after the bleeding is addressed and they can’t do that in the hospital. So that’s my number one priority today.
She told my brother a pretty detailed dream she had last night lol.
